Season Twists:
Chain Reaction
Instead of the usual tribal councils where everyone casts a vote, we will do something completely different. The best performer on the losing tribe will be the captain and will start a 'chain'. They will pick whoever they want to save. That person will pick the next person to be saved, and so on. The last person linked to the chain will be sent home or to the jury. This twist will have a huge impact on the game and will force everyone to think of new strategies.
Hidden Immunity Idols
There will be a Hidden Immunity Idol in every tribe's camp. In case someone possesses an idol when they are left off the chain at Tribal Council, a new chain is formed with the person who has the idol being the second link in the new chain (as if they were chosen by the captain). Idols can be played until the Final 6 and cannot be given to someone else AT tribal council.
Tribal Challenges
In Tribal Challenges, all tribe members will get to do an individual task. The tribe(s) with the best performance on average, win(s) tribal immunity. The best performer(s) on the winning tribe(s) get a clue to the whereabouts of the Hidden Immunity Idol. The best performer(s) on the losing tribe(s) get(s) a note to be opened at Tribal Council. This note will contain this season's twist.
Episode 1: Something Else
Milos, March 16, 2012. Eighteen Americans are dropped on a beach on this beautiful island. It's a giant white sand beach, but the lack of trees is obviously going to make it harder to find shelter.
Jeffrey Probst welcomes the 18 survivors and announces that there will be a huge twist that will shake up the game like never before. No details are told, as they will simply face the twist when the time comes. Then Jeffrey divides the survivors into three tribes of six.
Aether: Bev, Charles, Darian, Fabian, Joshua, Taryn
Eos: Barbara, Dan, Jessie, Jill, Lee, Sherie
Thalassa: Brandy, Collin, Elvina, Maria, Maxi, Robert
The survivors are brought to their camps and they are given a day and a half to build a shelter and to get to know each other.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Aether
Bev is immediately taking the lead and starts delegating people in order to get a shelter ready for the night. She is the natural leader of the tribe and as an experienced forester, she knows how to handle this. Joshua is very enthusiastic and tries to show the tribe that he is strong and willing to do a lot of work. He immediately has a great connection with Bev and Fabian. Considering their completely different backgrounds, surprisingly Fabian and Joshua get along very well. Fabian is the most talkative guy on the tribe and right off the bat tries to get to know everyone. He quickly figures that Darian is "something else". The bank employee is totally overwhelmed by the experience. She isn't very motivated to work on the shelter. Bev isn't someone who she'd typically get along with, and Taryn is getting on her last nerve with her girl talk about shopping and shoes. Taryn isn't really helping the tribe, and just distracting the men from doing their work. Charles is having difficulties with the extreme heat (it's around 90 degrees) and doesn't feel very well; he isolates himself from the group.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Eos
On Eos, Jessie comes up with a plan to vote for a leader of their tribe, someone who should delegate and take the lead. Barbara doesn't like such formalities and separates herself from the group with Dan and Jill. She whispers that she isn't happy with Jessie's proposal and that she'd rather start building a shelter rather than doing things in such a formal way. Sherie overheard them talking and informs both Lee and Jessie of what she heard. Jessie then confronts Barbara on why she won't just speak up about her ideas, but Barbara ignores him and starts delegating the other four. She's obviously rubbing Sherie and Lee the wrong way. When separated from the group, Sherie and Lee agree on getting rid of Barbara the first chance they get. They plan on working with Jessie and one of Dan or Jill, whoever is the most approachable and most valuable for the tribe.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Collin is the natural leader on this tribe. Before starting on a shelter, he organizes a meeting with the tribe on the beach to get to know each other a little better. Everyone is very enthusiastic about the tribe. Maxi seems to be a bit of an outsider as he is a little more quiet. Robert and Maria get along very well. Maria used to live in Philadelphia and her kids went to the same school as Robert's kids. After the tribe meeting, Elvina approaches Maxi about an alliance. She feels that Collin is trying to prevent people from aligning by calling these tribe meetings. They plan on asking Robert and Brandy to join them when they get the chance. Brandy can barely lift a plank and isn't very helpful in building the shelter. Her tribe mates notice that, and Robert and Collin already talk about booting her the first chance they get.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
At the immunity challenge, Jeffrey announces that there is a reward for the best performer on each tribe. The best performers of the two winning tribes each get a clue to the whereabouts of the Hidden Immunity Idol in their camp. The best performer of the losing tribe gets to open a special note at Tribal Council.
In the challenge, the castaways have to find golden coins in a mud pit. Immunity is won by Aether and Thalassa, meaning that Eos is the first tribe to go to Tribal Council. Because of their performance in the challenge, Fabian and Robert receive an idol clue. On Eos, Lee is the best performer and hence will get a note to open at Tribal.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Eos
Everyone speculates about the note and how it might shake up the game. Lee and Sherie think it might be a double vote. They discuss this with Jessie, and the three of them agree to vote out Barbara no matter what. She is contributing, but she doesn't make any effort to make herself well liked by the tribe. In the mean time, Barbara talks to Jill and Dan about how Lee is going to be a threat in the long run. Jill feels Jessie out about the vote and asks him if there's any chance he could tell her how he is voting tonight. Jessie confirms to Jill it's not going to be her and he asks her to throw her vote on Dan.
Tribal Council: Eos
At Tribal Council, Lee gets to open his note. It reveals this season's twist. The tribe is not going to vote someone out. A chain is going to be formed. Someone will simply be left off the chain and deemed the weakest link. Everyone is completely blown away and with no time to scramble and talk strategy, everyone is just very nervous. As part of the twist, Lee, the best performer in the Immunity Challenge, is immune. He will be the captain and pick the first person to be saved. Jeffrey asks some questions about the tribe's dynamics, and it quickly shows that Jessie and Barbara don't get along. Barbara expresses that she is annoyed with most of her tribe mates, while Jessie accuses Barbara of deliberately causing friction on the tribe. Dan explains how this tribe has had a bad start and that things can only go better in the future if the tribe makes the right decision tonight.
The chain is formed...
Lee links Sherie
Sherie links Jessie
Jessie links Jill
Jill links....
Barbara.
This means that Dan is the weakest link. Dan has to take his belongings and leave the game.
This means that Dan is the weakest link. Dan has to take his belongings and leave the game.
Episode 2: Hanging on a thread
After Dan was deemed the weakest link on Eos, we have the following tribes:
Aether: Bev, Charles, Darian, Fabian, Joshua, Taryn
Eos: Barbara, Jessie, Jill, Lee, Sherie
Thalassa: Brandy, Collin, Elvina, Maria, Maxi, Robert
Pre-challenge dynamics: Aether
Charles is continuing to distance himself from the tribe. He didn't leave a great impression in the last challenge and almost cost his tribe the win. He still feels miserable and has difficulties adapting. Joshua forms an alliance with Bev and Fabian. Joshua and Bev even have an agreement to never write each others name down. Fabian suggests adding Taryn or Darian to their alliance. Since Darian and Bev don't get along, Taryn is added as their fourth, leaving Darian and Charles on the outs. Fabian shares his idol clue with Taryn, and both start looking for the idol. Charles finds out, but he has no one to share this with so he keeps it for himself.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Eos
Lee and Sherie are furious that Barbara survived Tribal Council. They go up to Jill and call her out on her choice to save Barbara over Dan. Jill defends herself by saying that Jessie told her to vote Dan, and given that it was going to be a normal Tribal that is what she would have done to save Lee from being voted into a tie. Sherie then gets upset at Jessie for telling Jill to do that, but Lee is more mad at Jill for being so clueless about the tribe's dynamics. Jessie doesn't see it as his fault and also blames Jill. Barbara behaves like a tyrant and is telling everyone how useless Jessie is and how he will screw them over in a tribe swap or merge. In the mean time she goes on an idol search, without any success.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Robert has been searching for the immunity idol for a while. Collin asks him if he would like to share the clue with him, but Robert chooses to keep it for himself. Elvina and Maxi talk to Brandy about forming an alliance. Brandy is on board with it. Then the three of them approach Robert. He is a little hesitant, but in the end says he's on board. Later, when Robert asks Elvina to go for a walk with him, he tells her that he has doubts and that he'd rather work with Maria than with Brandy. Elvina is fine with that, but she is worried because Brandy already knows about the alliance of them four. They decide to wait with deciding who to go with until after the challenge.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
At the immunity challenge, Jeffrey announces what rewards are given to best performers on each tribe. Since two tribes will go to Tribal Council this round, only the best performer of the winning tribe will get a clue to the whereabouts of the Hidden Immunity Idol in their camp. The best performers of the losing tribes get to open a special note at Tribal Council.
In the challenge, the castaways have to throw balls in their baskets. Whichever tribe has the most balls at the end of the challenge, wins tribal immunity. Immunity is won by Aether, meaning that both Thalassa and Eos go to Tribal Council. Joshua, as the best performer for Aether, gets an idol clue. Jill and Maria were the best performers on the other tribes and will get to open the note at Tribal.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Eos
Jill already knows what the note will be about. She knows that she will be the captain, and has a hard decision to make. The tribe wants to get Barbara out, but Barbara is having some good points. Her plea is that if she is out this week, Jill is going to be the next person to go if she doesn't win the challenge. Instead, they can get rid of Lee or Jessie who have both been upset at Jill for picking Barbara over Dan. Lee and Sherie promise Jill to link her before Jessie at the next Tribal Council. Jessie promises Jill that if she links him first, he will pick whoever she wants.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Thalassa
Elvina is trying hard to get a majority on her hands. She has Maxi and Robert, and since Maria did better in the challenge, she is trying to get her as a fourth instead of Brandy. Robert and Collin get along well, and Robert is telling Collin that he may be on the outs. Collin is trying to get to the bottom of it, but Robert cannot tell him much more. They both agree that Brandy should be leaving. Maria is approached by Elvina and Maxi, and they are letting her decide between Collin and Brandy. She doesn't want to be calling the shots and says they should go ask someone else. Robert tries to comfort Maria and gets her on board with voting Brandy.
Tribal Council: Eos
At Tribal Council, everyone is very open about the possible scenarios. Barbara is giving Jill her plea and Jessie repeats his promise to her. Barbara and Jessie end up bickering about the last Tribal Council. Jill says that she will do whatever is best for her game.
Then the chain is formed...
Jill links Barbara
Barbara links Sherie
Sherie links...
Lee.
This means that Jessie is the weakest link. Jessie has to take his belongings and leave the game.
This means that Jessie is the weakest link. Jessie has to take his belongings and leave the game.
Tribal Council: Thalassa
At Tribal Council, Maria gets to open her note. The twist is announced, and Maria gets to make a very important decision. Everyone pleads their case to Maria. Collin says he's very worried about going tonight. Elvina and Brandy both say they rely on their ties to keep them save.
The chain is formed...
Maria links Robert
Robert links Collin
Collin links Elvina
Elvina links...
Maxi.

Episode 3: Split in the middle
After Jessie was deemed the weakest link on Eos, and Brandy was deemed the weakest link on Thalassa, we have the following tribes:
Aether: Bev, Charles, Darian, Fabian, Joshua, Taryn
Eos: Barbara, Jill, Lee, Sherie
Thalassa: Collin, Elvina, Maria, Maxi, Robert
Pre-challenge dynamics: Aether
Both Fabian and Joshua are searching for the idol. Fabian finds it, but Charles followed him and knows Fabian has the idol. He talks to Fabian and asks what he is planning to do with it. The two then connect. Both have a scientific background, and Charles used to go to Stanford where Fabian is finishing his Chemistry studies. The two agree on helping each other in the future of the game. Joshua is suspicious of Fabian having the idol. He talks to both Bev and Taryn about the possibility of him having it. Both assume that he would tell them if he had it.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Eos
This tribe is completely split in the middle after Jill chose to pick Barbara first. Jill and Barbara agree to stick together to the very end. Lee and Sherie try to solidify something with the other two for when there is a tribe swap or merge. Jill is interested, but Barbara says she cannot work with Lee. All four are trying to find the idol, but with no clues they don't succeed.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Maxi and Elvina ask Robert why he chose to save Collin before the two of them. Robert explains how the two of them bonded and agreed on getting rid of Brandy anyway. Maxi doesn't like how Robert put the Elvina and himself at risk, but he is unsure on how to get into a better position since Maria and Collin are both close to Robert. Elvina suggests spying on Robert for a while, first of all to figure out his real intentions, and second to try and see where he is looking for the idol.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
At the immunity challenge, Jeffrey announces what rewards are given to best performers on each tribe. Two tribal immunities are up for grabs. The best performers of the winning tribes will get a clue to the whereabouts of the Hidden Immunity Idol in their camp. The best performers of the losing tribes gets to open a special note at Tribal Council.
The immunity challenge is a skeeball game. Immunity is won by Thalassa and Eos, meaning that Aether goes to Tribal Council. Taryn, as the best performer for Aether, gets to open the note at Tribal. Jill and Robert were the best performers on the other tribes and will get an idol clue.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Aether
Joshua, Taryn, and Darian blame Charles for losing the immunity challenge. Taryn goes as far as insulting him saying he must have been terrible at sports in high school. Charles then talks to Fabian as he feels that he is being voted out tonight. He asks him for the idol, but Fabian is very hesitant. He has an alliance with Joshua, Bev, and Taryn and he is planning to stick with that. He tells Charles that he will try and get people to vote against Darian. Bev doesn't have a problem with that, but Joshua and Taryn think it should be Charles as Darian has been doing an okay job in challenges. Joshua then tells Darian what Fabian told him in order to let her know that he's fighting for her to stay. Darian tries to flip the script to Fabian after hearing this, but Joshua tells her to just be quiet about it and let him try and save her.
Tribal Council: Aether
At Tribal Council, Taryn gets to open her note. The twist is announced, and as the captain, Taryn is going to make the first pick. Darian says how some people on this tribe don't seem to like her very much. Bev explains what her problem is and tells Darian that if she had a problem with her leadership that she could have told her, rather than complaining. Taryn backs Bev up and tells Darian how she hasn't been doing any effort to get along with people. Charles explains how he has been miserable the first couple of days. He is doing a lot better now, but he realizes that tonight may be his last night on the island. Darian accuses Fabian of having an idol, but Fabian denies.
Then the chain is formed...
Taryn links Fabian
Fabian links Bev
Bev links Joshua
Joshua links...
Darian.
This means that Charles is the weakest link. Charles has to take his belongings and leave the game. When leaving, he points a finger at Fabian and tells him he made a stupid move.
This means that Charles is the weakest link. Charles has to take his belongings and leave the game. When leaving, he points a finger at Fabian and tells him he made a stupid move.
Episode 4: The Greek gods must hate me
After Charles was deemed the weakest link on Aether, we have the following tribes:
Aether: Bev, Darian, Fabian, Joshua, Taryn
Eos: Barbara, Jill, Lee, Sherie
Thalassa: Collin, Elvina, Maria, Maxi, Robert
Pre-challenge dynamics: Aether
Bev and Joshua get into an argument about Darian. Bev isn't happy with Joshua's choice. Taryn asks Fabian what was up with Charles calling him out at tribal. Fabian explains how they connected, but that he agreed with the tribe that his challenge performance wasn't good enough. Darian asks Joshua if she is going to be booted next and Joshua explains that people form bonds and alliances and that she should look out for herself.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Eos
Jill shares her idol clue with Barbara. They search for the idol, with Lee and Sherie spying on them. None of them succeed in finding the idol.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Collin calls for a tribe meeting and suggests that Robert shares his idol clues with the group. He explains how he wants to play the game with them, rather than against them. Maria backs him up, and Robert finally shares his clues. The whole tribe goes on an idol search, with success. Robert finds it and tells the tribe. He suggests they don't try to flush it before merge, and he is okay with giving it to one of them if needed.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
At the immunity challenge, Jeffrey has an important announcement to make. We are switching tribes! We won't have new tribes until after the challenge, and no one will know how everyone did in the challenge until after the tribes are selected. The two best performers will start the tribe selections in a schoolyard pick, and one tribe will go to Tribal Council tonight.
In today's challenge the castaways have to estimate some numbers (ie. what is the total age of all the castaways left, how many cameras are placed on the island, etcetera). After five questions, the two survivors deviating from the correct numbers the least, become the team captains.
The winners of the challenge are Fabian and Robert. Fabian did better than Robert, so he gets to pick first. They cannot choose someone from their old tribe. The tribe selection goes as follows:
Fabian => Lee => Taryn => Elvina => Sherie => Maria => Jill
Robert => Bev => Barbara => Joshua => Maxi => Darian => Collin
Fabian's tribe is going to be the new Aether.
Robert's tribe is going to be the new Thalassa.

Overall, Thalassa did better, so immunity is won by Thalassa. Aether goes to Tribal Council. Robert gets an idol clue, whereas Fabian is going to be the first person to link someone at Tribal tonight.
Post-Challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Robert immediately secures his ties with Collin, saying the two of them should protect each other in this tribe. They talk to Maxi, who is on board with sticking together. Robert tells Bev why he chose her, and that he thinks they will get along. Bev is happy to hear that and suggests the three former Thalassa, herself, and Joshua stick together. Barbara and Darian find themselves on the outs. The two of them separate themselves from the tribe and discuss how miserable their old tribes were. They are bonding and agree to try and help each other out.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Aether
Taryn is happy that Fabian is the captain, and everyone seems to assume Fabian will pick Taryn first. Lee and Sherie approach Taryn and Fabian about sticking together with the four of them. Taryn and Fabian then decide to talk to Jill about the dynamics in the old Eos tribe. Jill explains how the tribe was split into two. Fabian appreciates how open she is. The three of them make a deal to pick each other. Elvina and Taryn separate themselves from the group in order to get to know each other better. Taryn explains that she chose Elvina as she thought they'd get along. They talk about life and their hobbies and figure out they have a lot in common. Elvina asks Taryn if she has anyone who will take her to the end, after which the two solidify a Final 2 deal. After returning to the camp, Maria asks Elvina what the two were discussing. Elvina tells Maria that she may be picked by Taryn, and promises her to pick her next. Fabian and Taryn decide not to work with Lee and Sherie, but agree that Lee should be saved in order to remain strong in challenges. They talk to Maria and tell her the decision is going to be up to her. Fabian finally tells Taryn about his idol and gives it to her in case their deal with Jill doesn't work out.
Tribal Council: Aether
Everyone talks about the new tribe's dynamics. Jill argues that former tribal lines mean nothing as her old tribe sucked. Lee and Sherie go off at her for isolating herself and 'just being lucky with this season's twist'. Fabian weighs in and tell the two of them to adapt to the circumstances. Elvina accidentally slips up and says she knows for sure that she's safe tonight. Sherie then calls Taryn out on making multiple deals. Maria explains how people bickering is good for her game.
Then the chain is formed...
Fabian links Jill
Jill links Taryn
Taryn links Elvina
Elvina links Maria
Maria links...
Lee.
This means that Sherie is the weakest link. Sherie has to take her belongings and leave the game.
This means that Sherie is the weakest link. Sherie has to take her belongings and leave the game.
Episode 5: Powerless
After a tribe swap and Sherie being deemed the weakest link on Aether, we have the following tribes:
Aether: Elvina, Fabian, Jill, Lee, Maria, Taryn
Thalassa: Barbara, Bev, Collin, Darian, Joshua, Maxi, Robert
Pre-challenge dynamics: Aether
Taryn returns the idol to Fabian. Lee is worried about his position in the tribe and talks to Fabian to see what he is up to. Fabian says he's willing to help him, but that he hasn't much wiggle room right now. Lee tries to convince Fabian by pointing out that Elvina and Maria may go back to working with their former Thalassa tribe mates come merge. Fabian tells Lee to try and fix his relationship with Jill. Taryn is feeling Elvina out about her ties with former Thalassa. She tells her about Robert putting her at risk earlier in the game and how Maria and Robert are close and that Robert has the idol.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Joshua isn't very happy with the five way alliance that was just formed between himself, Bev, and the three former Thalassa. He talks to Darian about how he would like her to step up her game and try to find her way in. Joshua says he'd rather work with her and Barbara than with the former Thalassa. Barbara joins them in their conversation and they form a threesome. Later Joshua discusses this with Bev who doesn't seem very happy with Joshua making these decisions himself. Collin and Robert discuss who should go between Darian and Barbara and are leaning towards going after Darian since she has more former tribe mates in the game. Maxi misses Elvina and is separating himself from the tribe.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
At the immunity challenge, Jeffrey announces a twist for this round. Both tribes will go to Tribal Council, so this challenge is for Individual Immunity. The winner on each tribe will be immune at Tribal Council, will spend the afternoon on the other tribe, and will start the chain on the other tribe's Tribal Council.
In today's challenge the castaways have to run through an obstacle course in the fastest possible time. Fabian wins Aether's immunity, Maxi wins Thalassa's immunity. Both of them will visit the other tribe for the afternoon, and will make the first pick in their Tribal Council tonight.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Aether
Maxi and Elvina separate themselves from the tribe to discuss strategy. Maxi promises to pick Elvina first. Elvina is worried about Robert, Maria, and Collin being too close. They ask Taryn to join them. The three of them agree to stick together for as long as possible, and since Taryn and Elvina already had a Final 2 deal, Maxi basically joined them. Later, Taryn tells Jill how a romance could be forming. Jill then suggests breaking them up, but Taryn ensures her that she'll keep an eye on them and suggests cutting Lee or Maria this week. Jill is on board with cutting either of the two. Lee approaches Maxi about working together. Maxi admits that he cannot pick him first. Then Lee tries to fix his relationship with Jill, but without much success. Jill tells him how he owes her a lot more than she does to him and that he will first have to pay some favors back before she will do him any. Maria talks to Elvina and Maxi, and ensures them it will be the five former Thalassa to the very end if they are down with that.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Thalassa
Bev and Joshua try to make sure that Fabian chooses them. Fabian guarantees them that they're fine. Joshua also talks to Darian and Barbara to check if their threesome is still in place. Robert talks to Fabian and shows him his idol. He threatens that if one of himself or Collin are left off the chain, he will make sure the right person has the idol and that Joshua or Bev will go. Fabian feels pressured and talks to Bev about this. Bev says they'll have to play it cool and target Darian or Barbara, or even Joshua who's been sucking up to Darian. Both prefer Darian to go, but with only little trust in Joshua they don't know how to enforce that. Bev approaches Barbara and tells her that in case she is given the decision, she should pick Robert over Collin. Barbara tells her she can take her own decisions and knows what's good for her. Then Bev slips up to Barbara about Robert having an idol. Barbara and Darian discuss how they can use this in their favor. They ask Robert to come with them and tell him what they heard. Fabian asks Joshua if he could pick Robert or Collin for him, and Joshua says he is fine with that.
Tribal Council: Aether
Maxi is asked how he will make his decision. He doesn't make a secret of picking either Elvina or Maria first based on former tribal lines. Lee, Jill, and Taryn are asked if that worries them. Taryn says she relies on her relationships within this tribe. Jill explains how it will be beneficial to them to keep her in the game. Lee says he's worried, but cannot do that much as he feels like the most powerless player in the game and that the rough circumstances and lack of food are taking its toll on him in challenges.
Then the chain is formed...
Maxi links Elvina
Elvina links Taryn
Taryn links Jill
Jill links...
Lee.
This means that Maria is the weakest link. Maria has to take her belongings and leave the game. She is furious at Elvina and tells her she is Maxi's pet. After Tribal, Elvina wishes Maxi good luck, and Maxi returns to his own tribe.
This means that Maria is the weakest link. Maria has to take her belongings and leave the game. She is furious at Elvina and tells her she is Maxi's pet. After Tribal, Elvina wishes Maxi good luck, and Maxi returns to his own tribe.
Tribal Council: Thalassa
Fabian is asked his opinion on the tribe. He admits it's a chaotic tribe with people running their mouth all the time. Barbara interrupts him and tells him she isn't going to shut up when she knows she is a target. Bev says that everyone has to look out for themselves as this is more an individual game than a tribal game. Joshua doesn't know what to say when he is asked how he will make his decision. Fabian asks Joshua why he can't just go with a plan and stick with it and the two end up bickering about how much they have done for each other. Darian interrupts and tells Fabian that Joshua can make his own decisions and won't need Bev or Fabian for that. Robert and Collin are relatively quiet and observant.

Fabian links Bev
Bev links Joshua
Joshua links Darian
Darian links Barbara
Barbara links
Collin.

Then Robert links Collin
Collin links Darian
Darian links Barbara
Barbara links....
Joshua.
Bev is left off the chain and deemed the weakest link. With a smile on her face she leaves Tribal Council, and the game. Fabian looks devastated. Fabian then returns to Aether.

Episode 6: Losing faith
With Maria and Bev leaving, we have the following tribes:
Aether: Elvina, Fabian, Jill, Lee, Taryn
Thalassa: Barbara, Collin, Darian, Joshua, Maxi, Robert
Pre-challenge dynamics: Aether
Fabian tells the tribe what happened at Thalassa's Tribal Council. He is worried that a huge alliance has formed, since even Joshua seemed in on the plan to get Bev out. He suggests Lee and Jill to toughen it up and try and work together with this tribe. Lee explains that he has no problem with that since Jill saved him in the last tribal council. Elvina is worried for Maxi and tells the tribe that she's pretty sure he'll flip to their side if he makes it to the merge. Later, when Elvina and Jill separate themselves from the group, Jill asks Elvina if it's worth throwing the challenge such that Maxi can be saved. Taryn overhears the two and isn't against the plan. She thinks Fabian may not be on board with it, so the three decide to keep it between the three of them. Jill suggests that, in order to keep the captain position out of Lee's hands, she gives her all while the other two throw hard.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Maxi is confused by what happened in Thalassa's last tribal council and asks Robert if there's any chance he is still with him and Collin. They guarantee him he's fine and explain how Barbara and Darian might stick with them in the merge. Robert wants to know what happened over on the other tribe. Maxi lies, and tells him how Elvina betrayed him by choosing Taryn over Maria. Robert is devastated, and a little wary of Maxi as he never expected Elvina would betray him. Collin tells Robert that he's worried about Joshua being a flip flopper. Barbara and Darian discuss how to get rid of Maxi if they go to tribal council this week.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
At the immunity challenge, Tribal Immunity is back up for grabs. The best performer of the winning tribe will get a clue to the whereabouts of the hidden immunity idol, whereas the best performer on the losing tribe will get to link someone first at tonight's Tribal Council.
In today's challenge the castaways have to fill barrels with water from the sea, then run to the other side of the beach with the barrel above their heads, empty the barrel, and collect as much water as they can. On average, Thalassa collected more water and hence wins immunity. Robert, as the best performer (again), gets an idol clue though it won't be useful to him as it turns out to be a clue to the same location where the last one was hidden. Jill did the best job for Aether, meaning she will get to pick first at tonights Tribal Council.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Aether
Fabian, Jill, and Lee sad about losing the challenge. Everyone but Fabian and Jill did a very mediocre job. Fabian asks Elvina and Taryn if they were throwing, but they deny and admit to having a bad day. Jill acts like she's with Fabian on this, even though she knows exactly what happened. Jill pretty much knows what she wants to happen tonight. Fabian, as an extra security, shows the whole tribe his idol. He urges them not to blindside him to flush it, as they will need it in the merge. Lee tries to strike a deal with Elvina and Taryn, but with Fabian having the idol they cannot do anything for him.
Tribal Council: Aether
Lee is the first to speak up. He says he know he's leaving. He's had fun and doesn't blame his tribe mates for this. The other four pretty much agree, and after a short discussion the chain is formed...
Jill links Fabian
Fabian links Elvina
Elvina links...
Taryn.
This means that Lee is the weakest link. Lee takes his belongings and leaves Tribal Council, and the game.

Episode 7: Having majority is overrated
With Lee leaving, we have the following tribes:
Aether: Elvina, Fabian, Jill, Taryn
Thalassa: Barbara, Collin, Darian, Joshua, Maxi, Robert
Pre-challenge dynamics: Aether
The four are just hoping for a merge now. They plan on sticking together and discuss ways of getting majority. Jill is asked about her connections with Barbara, and tells the tribe she has more of a bond with this group of four. Elvina repeats that she might get Maxi to their side. Fabian explains that he is worried about Joshua's loyalties.
Pre-challenge dynamics: Thalassa
Robert and Collin are trying to secure Maxi for when they merge. Maxi repeats how Elvina betrayed him by choosing Taryn over Maria. Barbara and Darian make a Final 2 deal and plan on getting Jill to work with them for a while.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
At the immunity challenge, Jeffrey announces the merge! The tribes have now merged into the Pontus tribe. Pontus is the god of the sea, father of the fish and other sea creatures. Everyone will get to wear yellow buffs. The rules are going to be simple. The winner of each challenge is immune at Tribal Council and gets to link someone first.

In today's challenge the castaways have one hour to catch as many fish as they can. Collin wins the challenge and get to pick first tonight at Tribal Council. Out of the other nine, someone will be deemed the weakest link.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Pontus
Robert talks to Collin about Maxi's loyalties. They expect Maxi to expect that he will be chosen first or second, but they are wary of him and Elvina. They go and talk to Darian and Barbara and discuss who should go and how they should link Maxi at some point. They don't want him to feel on the outs, but don't trust him enough either. In the mean time Fabian talks to Elvina and Taryn about the possibility of giving one of them the idol. Neither of them want to take the offer and prefer Fabian to keep it for himself. Barbara feels Jill out about her ties with former Aether, but Jill tells her that she herself has majority on her hands and that she should be the one to protect her now. Barbara isn't sure if she can link Jill and she tells her to talk to Elvina and make sure she picks her. Jill isn't happy with that and asks Fabian if she can have the idol as she thinks she's going to be left off the chain. Fabian is hesitant and saw her talking to Barbara, so he prefers to keep it. Joshua and Taryn talk about fixing their relationship, but Taryn feels that he has ties with Darian. Darian then joins the two and tells them the three of them plus Barbara would form a great foursome. Taryn says she likes that idea, and then runs to Elvina to tell her what is going on. Elvina is pretty confident that it's either Fabian, Jill, or Taryn leaving tonight. They need to make sure that either Fabian is left off the chain and plays the idol, or that Maxi is chosen before Joshua, Darian, or Barbara. Taryn and Elvina talk to Maxi about this, but Maxi doesn't feel like he is going to be chosen that early. He asks Collin, who tells him he's going to be safe, but that was all he could say. Barbara, Darian, and Joshua talk about how it will be one of them leaving if there's an idol in play tonight. Joshua thinks Fabian has it, and they agree on a plan to go back on all their other deals in order to make sure the idol isn't played. Finally, Robert feels Elvina out about Maria's elimination, and she tells him it was a stupid mistake on her side and that Taryn had promised her to choose Maria. Robert asks if she knows a way to make Taryn pay for that, and Elvina says she'll try and make that happen for him.
Tribal Council: Pontus
Everyone talks about the new dynamics and seeing former tribe mates after a while. Jill complains that things have changed with Barbara. Barbara explains how her new tribe mates were a lot more likeable than Lee and Sherie. Maxi tries to convince Robert and Collin of picking him and tells them it would show him how loyal they really are to former Thalassa. Joshua is asked if he is worried about an idol, but he isn't. Fabian then explains how it screwed Bev over and that he should worry about it. Darian interrupts and tells Fabian to shut up and let Joshua play his own game. Taryn then goes off at both Darian and Barbara for being so bossy and condescending. Elvina and Maxi back her up. After a few other discussions, the chain is formed...
Collin links Robert
Robert links Barbara
Barbara links Darian
Darian links Joshua
Joshua links Fabian
Fabian links Taryn
Taryn links Jill
Jill links...
Elvina
This means that Maxi is the weakest link. Maxi becomes the first member of the jury and is brought to Ponderosa. Elvina then calls everyone out and tells them this must have been a set up to break her and Maxi up.

Episode 8: Now or never
Pontus: Barbara, Collin, Darian, Elvina, Fabian, Jill, Joshua, Robert, Taryn
Jury: Maxi
Pre-challenge dynamics: Pontus
Elvina is furious about Maxi being eliminated. Fabian is trying to comfort her and explains how it must have been Joshua's plan to save him to avoid him from using the idol. Fabian feels guilty and is willing to give up his idol to save someone at the next Tribal Council. Taryn joins them and comes up with an idea to spread rumors about Fabian giving the idol to Elvina or herself. That way Fabian wouldn't have to give his idol away and the Thalassa people will probably figure they change their strategy anyway. Elvina feels better and thanks Jill for saving her. Jill tells her how tight the other five must be, since she had a great relationship with Barbara before the swap and she chose to simply put her at risk of being left off. Barbara, Darian, Collin, Robert, and Joshua gather at the camp fire and discuss how things have been going well for them. They agree that they have to be careful with the idol being in play.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
In today's challenge the castaways have to balance on a buoy for as long as possible; once they fall off, they are out. If they like, they can opt out of the challenge at some specific points in time and get some food in return. After a while, Fabian and Jill are the last two remaining. Jill lets Fabian win, so he will get to pick first tonight at Tribal Council. Out of the other eight, someone will be deemed the weakest link.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Pontus
Jill asks Fabian if he could choose her first. He says he will. Barbara noticed and goes up to Jill to propose her to change things up. She argues that the two of them could stick together, flip flop a couple of times, and go to the end together. Jill says she'll think about it. Taryn and Elvina are pretty confident that they will be saved tonight, but Taryn suggests asking Fabian for his idol just in case something goes wrong. Fabian is OK with this and hands his idol to Taryn. Joshua asks Taryn if he could save him in return for safety next time. She doesn't trust him and discusses with Fabian. Fabian points out that Joshua has been flipping back and forth a couple of times, but that he may be less of a threat than Robert. In the mean time Robert and Collin share their concerns on this round. They need to make sure they are chosen before Darian, Barbara, and Joshua and they realized they might have screwed themselves over by going with these three. Robert decides to talk to Taryn and Elvina about the threesome that worries him. The two girls discuss this with Fabian and Jill later and they come to a final plan just before Tribal.
Tribal Council: Pontus
Joshua gets emotional about screwing Bev and himself over earlier in the game. Darian and Barbara try to comfort him and say the game is not over yet. Taryn calls them fake and tells Joshua that he must feel crappy for sticking with such awful people. Joshua, Robert, and Collin seem to be the most worried tonight. The chain is formed...
Fabian links Jill
Jill links Elvina
Elvina links Taryn
Taryn links Joshua
Joshua links Darian
Darian links Barbara
Barbara links...
Robert.
This means that Collin is the weakest link. Collin becomes the second member of the jury and is brought to Ponderosa.

Episode 9: A risk worth taking
Pontus: Barbara, Darian, Elvina, Fabian, Jill, Joshua, Robert, Taryn
Jury: Maxi, Collin
Pre-challenge dynamics: Pontus
Robert wants an explanation from Taryn on why she chose to save that threesome over Collin and himself. Taryn says that's what her people wanted. Elvina interrupts the two and says this is what they decided and that he must be happy to still be here. Robert feels alone and isn't sure what to do. Barbara, Darian, and Joshua discuss that Fabian has to go next and that they'll probably have to trigger him into giving his idol to one of his allies.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
In today's challenge the castaways have to collect a bunch of puzzle bags and complete a puzzle in the fastest possible time. Robert wins, so he will get to pick first tonight at Tribal Council. Out of the other seven, someone will be deemed the weakest link.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Pontus
Taryn tries to do damage control with Robert. Robert is listening, but he very well realizes they didn't take his offer either last week. He talks to Darian about his chances with her threesome. Darian tells him she likes him and doesn't have her mind made up yet. She's also wary of Joshua as he keeps making deals with everyone. Barbara and Joshua are trying to get information from Fabian and his allies. Jill, Elvina, Taryn, and Fabian know that one of them will be leaving tonight, and the only way to avoid this is if whoever of the other four gets picked last among the four of them doesn't link the one with the idol. Fabian suggests to randomly decide who of the four gets the idol in order to increase their chances. Jill comes up with a different plan. She thinks that Robert may have an incentive to help them. If he is ever not immune, and the idol is played, Robert may not be in the very best position due to the other three being tight. They could make a deal with Robert now and let him tell the three that Fabian gave the idol to Elvina, such that they will pick Elvina first. In reality, Fabian gives it to Taryn or herself. That way the threesome gets broken up and the idol is going to be flushed which is great for Robert. Taryn thinks that Robert may choose to go with them four anyway, but Elvina and Jill don't buy that. Fabian is concerned about Jill's plan and thinks that Robert may tell the others not to pick Elvina first because of it. Taryn then suggest leaving the plan in the middle and just telling Robert he should tell the others that Elvina got the idol. They execute the plan and Robert is totally on board with the deal. He suggests that one of the women gets left off in the second chain. Barbara and Joshua, who've been spying on the group the whole time, saw them talking to Robert, but they are unsure what they did. Joshua thinks Fabian may have given him the idol in exchange for being picked first. Barbara argues that such a thing wouldn't make sense. Right before Tribal, Robert tells Barbara, Darian, and Joshua to pick Elvina first if they don't want to risk being left off due to an idol being played.
Tribal Council: Pontus
Everyone is very nervous at Tribal. Robert explains how he was ticked off by the last Tribal's result. He feels a little alone now. Joshua expresses his concerns about an idol being in play. Taryn tells him he should be concerned, but that he only has himself to blame for playing such an awful game. Barbara tells her to grow up. Robert is asked to make his pick, the chain is formed...
Robert links Joshua
Joshua links Barbara
Barbara links Darian
Darian links Elvina
Elvina links Fabian
Fabian links...
Taryn.
This means that Jill is the weakest link. However, Jill walks up to Jeffrey and shows him the hidden immunity idol. The idol is legit, meaning that a new chain starts, as if Robert chose Jill first.

Barbara is left off the chain, and hence the weakest link. She becomes the third member of the jury and is brought to Ponderosa.

Episode 10: Shifting loyalties
Pontus: Darian, Elvina, Fabian, Jill, Joshua, Robert, Taryn
Jury: Maxi, Collin, Barbara
Pre-challenge dynamics: Pontus
Darian and Joshua think that Robert ditched them. Robert says he was a 100% sure he saw Elvina with an idol, but the two don't buy it and go off at him for being stupid to let another ally go. Elvina and Taryn discuss forming a side alliance with Robert. Taryn is afraid that it will come out immediately. Elvina suggests being open about it to Jill and Fabian and to just use Robert for the benefit of the four of them.
Immunity & Reward Challenge
Today's challenge is an auction where both food items and immunity can be won. Robert wins immunity again, so he will get to pick first tonight at Tribal Council. Out of the other six, someone will be deemed the weakest link.
Pre-Tribal dynamics: Pontus
Darian and Joshua try fixing their relationship with Robert. Darian states that if he wants to prove that he didn't ditch them that he should keep both of them save. Robert doesn't think he has to prove them anything, he has been planning to save them anyway. After discussing with Jill and Fabian, Elvina and Taryn go ahead and execute their plan to form a fake Final 3 with Robert. Robert isn't sure how much he likes that as they seem too close to Fabian and Jill. Elvina tells Robert it was her plan to flush the idol this way so there would be room for her to align herself with him. Robert then goes to Darian and discusses what he was just told. He doesn't want Joshua to hear this stuff and run his mouth. Darian thinks it might actually be a good idea to just act like being on board with Taryn and Elvina, but she is unsure how to make it believable without putting herself and Joshua at risk. Robert says he doesn't care for Joshua, but Darian argues that they need him. Fabian tries to see if Joshua can be swayed in the upcoming Tribal Council. Joshua isn't really willing to listen and tells Fabian that he's too much of a threat to take to the end. Later, Jill also tries with Joshua and tells him that he is open to working with him now that Barbara is gone. Joshua tells her that maybe next round they can work on something. Jill and Fabian then discuss how the plan of that fake alliance of Elvina and Taryn with Robert may actually backfire on them. Right before Tribal Council, the two of them talk to Robert and feel him out on his decision. When Robert hints at choosing his closest allies first, Jill decides to slip up about Elvina and Taryn's deal being fake.
Tribal Council: Pontus
Robert reveals that his decision won't be very surprising. He explains how some intriguing information came his way and hints at Darian to do the opposite of what they discussed earlier. Darian says she has faith in the people who have treated her with respect. The rest is relatively quiet and aside from Joshua, everyone is afraid it could be one of them tonight.
