Zach Galifianakis
Kathy Griffin
Kate Hudson
Ashton Kutcher
Miranda Lambert
Adam Levine
Evangeline Lilly

The celebrities will be divided into 4 tribes based off of their respective careers. The comedians, who will always wear blue, consist of Kathy Griffin, Amy Poehler, Dane Cook, and Jerry Seinfeld. The musicians, who will always wear red, consist of Miranda Lambert, Katy Perry, Chris Daughtry, and Adam Levine. The movie stars, who will always wear yellow, consist of Rachel McAdams, Kate Hudson, Matt Damon, and Zach Galifianakis. The TV show actors, who will always wear green, consist of Lea Michele, Evangeline Lilly, Steve Carell, and Ashton Kutcher.
EPISODE 1
Welcome to the Jungle
The 16 celebrities arrive on the island and are divided into their respective tribes. After the initial excitement of the start of the game and the cast reveal wears off, the celebrities realize they need to work on building shelter at their respective tribe camps. Country singer Miranda Lambert uses her outdoor skills to lead her tribe into building a decent shelter, and ex-Lostie Evangeline Lilly guides her tribe of TV actors into building another decent structure. The movie stars are distracted by Zach Galifianakis' crazy antics and get rained on before getting a roof over their heads, and over at the comedian's camp all four members are too busy telling jokes to get any work done.
After a good night's rest in their completed shelters, the musicians and the TV show actors complete the first immunity challenge with ease. The comedians and the movie stars race to the finish line hoping to claim the third immunity idol, but it is the comedians who come up short due to Jerry Seinfeld not being able to hoist himself over a ten foot wall. At their tribe camps the musicians, movie stars, and TV actors celebrate their victory while the comedians finally get serious as they begin preparing for Tribal Council. Kathy Griffin and Amy Poehler agree that, as women, they need to stick together and they approach Dane Cook proposing the idea of voting Jerry Seinfeld off due to his lackluster challenge performance and the need to keep the tribe strong. Dane agrees, and Jerry becomes the first person voted out of Survivor: Celebrity Edition in a 3-1 vote.
EPISODE 2
The New Kate and Sawyer
After returning from Tribal Council and losing Jerry Seinfeld, the comedians begin to realize the seriousness of the game and build their shelter. Dane Cook even manages to catch a few fish and the tribe enjoys a nice lunch. The musicians tribe are also at a high point as Miranda Lambert and Chris Daughtry lead the rest of their tribe in a campfire sing-a-long. Over at the TV actors, Evangeline Lilly keeps up her old habit of hooking up with men on islands as her and Ashton Kutcher enjoy a steamy night together leaving Lea Michele and Steve Carell to fend for themselves. At the immunity challenge the celebrities must swim out into the ocean and retrieve puzzle pieces before putting them together. While the race starts off even, Dane Cook and Chris Daughtry quickly give their respective tribes the advantage and the movie stars and TV actors are forced to step it up to avoid Tribal Council. It's a close race, but in the end Lea Michele's puzzle skills save her tribe from the vote, forcing the movie stars to vote their first member off.
As the movie stars prepare for Tribal Council Rachel McAdams, Kate Hudson, and Matt Damon all decide that Zach Galifianakis' laziness around camp and lack of physical ability make him an easy target. Zach, worried he is in danger, makes a last minute plea to Matt and Kate asking them to vote Rachel off with him because she was "channeling her inner mean girl" and said some nasty things about him. Matt and Kate briefly consider, but soon realize that Zach lied to them after questioning Rachel about what she said about Zach. Zach becomes the next celebrity voted off the island in another 3-1 vote.
EPISODE 3
The Girl Can Wear the Pants, too!
The celebrities receive treemail to proceed to the next challenge and are shocked when Jeff Probst announces the tribes will be swapped. To determine captains the celebrities will face off in a classic breath holding competition, and the male and female celebrity who can stay underwater the longest will earn the right to choose their own tribe. Miranda Lambert and Evangeline Lilly are the last two underwater for the girls, but in the end it is Evangeline who stays submerged the longest. Matt Damon and Ashton Kutcher are the final two guys and Ashton is determined to win because he doesn't want to lose Evangeline. Since the male and female heats are happening simultaneously, Ashton does not know that his showmance has already won her heat. When he comes up after Matt he is initially excited, but the mood soon changes when Jeff announces that him and Evangeline will become the tribe captains.
A pick 'em occurs and the new tribes are as follows:
Evangeline's tribe
Evangeline
Matt
Kate
Chris
Rachel
Steve
Kathy
Matt
Kate
Chris
Rachel
Steve
Kathy
Ashton's tribe
Ashton
Miranda
Dane
Amy
Adam
Lea
Katy
Miranda
Dane
Amy
Adam
Lea
Katy
At Evangeline's tribe's camp, the movie stars celebrate the fact that they were not split up by the tribe swap. The excitement soon fades, however, as the realize the other four could see them as a threat and vote against them. They decide they need to get one more vote on their side. While Evangeline mourns the loss of Ashton, Kathy and Steve become quick friends. On Ashton's tribe, Dane and Amy agree to continue working together and discuss the possibility of getting Ashton on board with them. Lea clicks with the three musicians, especially Miranda, since she is also one herself. At the immunity challenge the newly formed tribes face off in a gross eating competition. While everyone on Ashton's tribe is able to clear their plate, Rachel has trouble, and ultimately causes Evangeline's tribe to lose and be sent to Tribal Council.
Back at camp, Rachel feels bad about losing the challenge for her tribe. Matt and Kate comfort her, telling her they will try to get Evangeline or Chris' vote and try to split up the pair of Kathy and Steve. They quickly learn, however, that Kathy and Steve are comforting Evangeline to help her feel better about losing Ashton, so they doubt she would vote against either of them. They approach Chris, who becomes the swing vote, and at Tribal Council Chris chooses his side. Fearing the partnership of Kathy and Steve and the possibility that Evangeline and Ashton could be reunited, Chris sides with the movie stars and Kathy Griffin is voted off in a 4-3 vote.
EPISODE 4
Stuck in the Middle
Evangeline and Steve, both alone, realize they are in the minority and hope they can make it to the merge so they can work with Ashton. On Ashton's tribe, the members seem to be getting along despite the sub-alliances that have been forming. At the immunity challenge, the celebrities must match paired items that are hidden underneath a bowl by revealing two items at a time. Knowing their heads are on the chopping block, Evangeline and Steve put forth their best effort and lead their tribe to immunity.
Forced to attend Tribal Council for the first time as a new tribe, Ashton's tribe returns to camp and begins strategizing to make sure they are part of the majority. Miranda, Katy, and Adam agree to keep their alliance strong and use their relationship with Lea to gain the majority. Ashton, Dane, and Amy know that Lea is their only hope of survival, so when the musicians are off gathering food they approach her. The three of them tell Lea that she is number 4 in the alliance of musicians and once they reunite with Chris she will be number 5. They promise her she will get farther with them. Lea, unsure which side to take, weighs her options. She knows she will probably be at the bottom of the pecking order regardless of which side she chooses. Knowing how close Evangeline and Ashton are and her ever blossoming relationship with Miranda, Lea sides with the musicians at Tribal Council and Ashton Kutcher is voted off in a 4-3 vote.
EPISODE 5
Agressive Much?
Before the challenge, Evangeline gets very nervous because she has a feeling Ashton was voted out at Tribal Council. Her worst nightmare comes true when she realizes at the challenge that her showmance has indeed been voted off. Her mood brightens a little when Jeff reveals another twist. The winning tribe will choose one member of the losing tribe to go to Exile Island in lieu of attending Tribal Council. While Exile Island is a treacherous place, a hidden immunity idol is hidden there and the person sent to exile will receive a clue as to its whereabouts. After a hard fought challenge, Evangeline's tribe comes up just short and the majority alliance of Miranda, Adam, Katy, and Lea choose Chris to go to Exile Island.
Knowing the movie stars control the vote at her Tribal Council, Evangeline tells them she will do anything to keep herself in the game including voting for Steve. Rachel, Kate, and Matt weigh their options. Meanwhile, at Exile Island, Chris receives the first clue to the location of the HII but it is too vague for him to solve. At Tribal Council, the movie stars decide that Evangeline is playing the game too hard. They tell Steve that Evangeline threw him under the bus and she is voted out unanimously.
EPISODE 6
The Bromance
Chris returns from Exile Island and Steve fills him in on the events he missed while he was there. Chris is shocked that Evangeline threw Steve under the bus and he tells Steve he will look out for him because he knows Steve is on his own now. Miranda, Adam, Katy, and Lea speculate or not Chris found the HII on exile, while Dane and Amy discuss the importance of winning the next immunity challenge.
At the challenge, the celebrities must pair up and blindfold themselves. Then, listening to a caller who is not blindfolded, the pairs must bring items back to their mat while avoiding a series of obstacles. The first tribe to bring back all of their items will win immunity and the ability to send a member of the losing tribe to Exile Island. Chris and Steve are partners and put on an excellent performance. Coupled with Matt's clear calling, their tribe easily wins immunity. They decide to send Katy to Exile Island under the assumption that she won't be smart enough to find the HII. However, once on exile, Katy surprises everyone (including herself) by deciphering the clues and finding the idol. She decides it would be in her best interest not to tell anyone she was successful, including her allies.
Knowing they are in danger, Amy and Dane once again try to sway Lea into voting with them. Lea goes back and forth stating that all she wants to do is pick the right side that will get her farther in the game so she can win the money for her charity. Upon hearing this Miranda tells Lea that she is a good person and as long as Lea votes with her and Adam at Tribal Council she will make sure Lea gets farther than she would with Amy and Dane. Miranda even promises Lea that she can take Katy's spot in the musicians alliance and go to the Final Four with her, Adam, and Chris. At Tribal Council, Lea takes Miranda's deal and Dane Cook is voted out in a 3-2 vote because he is seen as a bigger challenge threat than Amy once the challenges become individual.
EPISODE 7
Shit, it's Gone!
The tribes congregate at Challenge Beach and Jeff tells the celebrities to drop their buffs, as they will be merging into one tribe today. The celebrities feast, create a new tribe flag, and decide which beach they will live on. Once settled, the merged tribe enjoys a celebratory bonfire at their new home and congratulate each other on making the merge.
The next day, however, the game is back on as the celebrities take part in a classic endurance challenge. It comes down to two movie stars, Matt and Kate, but in the end Matt is the one who walks away with the first individual immunity of the season. He chooses to send his ally Kate to Exile Island to search for the HII, because only Katy knows that it has been found. Heading back to camp, the musicians feel confident because, along with Lea, they will be able to control the vote. Chris says his relationship with Steve will give them an even bigger advantage.
On Exile Island, Kate locates the spot where the HII should be, but since it is not there she learns that it has already been found. At Tribal Council, the musicians plus Lea, Steve, and Amy vote for Rachel McAdams and she is sent home in a 7-2 vote.
EPISODE 8
Shoulda Kept your Mouth Shut
Kate returns from Exile Island and is disappointed to see that her ally Rachel McAdams was voted out at the last Tribal Council. She confides in Matt that she is pretty sure she found the spot where the idol was hidden but that it is no longer there, meaning that either Chris or Katy found it during their stay on exile. They know they are down in numbers but want to devise a plan to flush the idol out. They decide to wait and see who wins immunity and who is sent to Exile Island before setting anything into motion.
At the immunity challenge, the celebrities must use a sling shot to break each other's tiles and the last person standing with a tile intact will win immunity and the ability to send one person to Exile Island. The musicians alliance plus Lea easily take out the rest of the celebrities tiles, and from there Miranda's experience shooting guns comes in handy and she breaks the majority of the rest of the tiles earning herself immunity. In an attempt to prove her loyalty to Lea, and thinking the musicians will still have the numbers along with Steve, Miranda sends Lea to exile. Kate and Matt see this as the perfect opportunity to weaken the majority alliance. They persuade Steve and Amy to vote with them at Tribal Council by saying that the musicians will take Lea to the Final Five with them as evidenced by the pecking order of the challenge. They reluctantly agree, but Steve is not totally comfortable turning on his friend Chris and Amy is worried about a tie. Kate and Matt remind them that they need to make a move and if they don't they will just get picked off. They believe Chris has the idol, so they agree to vote for him in the hopes that he gets voted off with the idol in his pocket.
Still not sold on the plan, Steve asks Chris if he knows if the idol has been found and if so, who has it. Chris swears he doesn't have the idol and if he did he would have told Steve about it. Caught in the middle, Steve tells Chris about the movie stars plan to blindside him and his doubts about being stuck in the middle and what to do. Chris tells Steve that his alliance is voting for Matt, and as a friend he would appreciate it if Steve did the same.
While Steve ponders his decision, Chris reports the plan Steve just told him to Miranda, Adam, and Katy. They agree that Steve cannot be trusted and decide to vote for him at Tribal Council. Meanwhile, Katy secretly laughs at the fact that no one suspects she has the HII. When the vote is revealed, it is Steve who is blindsided in a 4-3-1 vote. Ultimately Steve remained loyal to Chris, but the fact that he was considering voting against Chris was enough for the musicians to send him packing. Steve Carell became the first member of the jury.
EPISODE 9
Final Three Would've been Better
Upon returning to camp Kate, Matt, and Amy try to figure out where their plan went wrong. Kate and Matt fear that they are goners, realizing that winning immunity is probably their only option. After she returns from Exile Island, Lea is also shocked to learn that Steve was voted off at Tribal Council but her alliance explains to her that he was wishy washy and needed to go. She then informs the musicians that she was unsuccessful in locating the HII at exile.
At the next immunity challenge the celebrities must balance a small ball on a flat surface for as long as possible. Knowing her days in the game are numbered, Amy concentrates hard enough and wins her first immunity challenge. She then has a tough decision to make on who to send to exile. She knows the HII has already been found and that there is no risk in sending one of the musicians, so she sends Katy hoping that Lea can finally be convinced to switch sides. While Katy relaxes at exile Amy, Kate, and Matt once again try to persuade Lea to vote with them. They guarantee her Final Four if she flops, because they think she will only make it to the Final Five with the musicians since they are unaware of Miranda's deal with her about taking Katy's spot in the Final Four. Lea politely tells them she will weigh all of her options, but sticks with the musicians at Tribal Council where Matt Damon is voted out in a 4-3 vote.
EPISODE 10
Here Comes the Drama!
Amy and Kate return from Tribal Council disappointed, but their spirits are lifted when they realize how awesome it would be if one of them won the next immunity challenge, forcing the musicians to turn on each other. The immunity challenge is an obstacle course where a pre-determined number of people are eliminated after each obstable. While Kate falls out of the race early, Amy digs deep and pulls out her second immunity win in a row. She immediately sends Kate to Exile Island and both girls grin at each other as they are separated.
Back at camp, the musicians are depressed they have to vote one of their own off. Chris confirms the plan to swap Lea for Katy with Miranda, who agrees, but their conversation is overheard by Amy who sees this as an opportunity to cause drama within the majority alliance. After Miranda lies to Katy telling her that Lea has to go, Amy tells Katy the supposed allies real plan. Katy is upset with Miranda and Chris, but shrugs it off because she knows she can play the idol to be safe. She asks Amy who she wants to vote off, and when she tells her Chris, Katy says, "Just do it."
At Tribal Council, Katy acts like she is voting for Lea with the rest of her allies, but her and Amy actually vote for Chris while the other four vote for Katy. Katy shocks everyone by playing the HII and Chris Daughtry is sent to the jury with 2 votes.
EPISODE 11
Should've Read the Rulebook
Returning to camp Miranda, Adam, and Lea are shocked that Katy played the HII and blindsided Chris. Katy tells them she overheard what the actual plan was and that she had no choice. She tells her former allies that she wanted to go to the Final Four with them but they drew the first sword and it will be a battle at the immunity challenge to see who will control the vote. When Kate returns from Exile Island, she is pleased to hear that she has a new ally in Katy and another chance in the game.
At the next immunity challenge Jeff drops a bomb on the celebrities when he tells them that since the HII was played at the last Tribal Council, Exile Island is no more. The contestants soon realize that the vote at Tribal Council will likely tie this round, so immunity is more important than ever. Jeff tells the celebrities that the challenge will test one of the most basic survival skills: fire building. The first person to build a flame high enough to light their rope on fire will win immunity and a guaranteed spot in the Final Five. Knowing how important this challenge is, every celebrity goes all out. Miranda and Kate build the two largest fires and it is just a matter of time before one of their ropes break. Miranda wins immunity by a few seconds, and as she rejoices Kate is devastated.
Back at camp, the celebrities discuss how a tie will be broken at Tribal Council. The consensus is that the two celebrities who receive votes will face off in another fire building competition. Since the musicians know Kate performed well at the immunity challenge they decide they cannot vote for her, so they weigh the pros and cons of keeping Katy and Amy. The newly formed alliance of Katy, Amy, and Kate decide to vote for Lea because Adam performed better than her in the challenge. At Tribal Council, Lea and Katy both receive three votes. Jeff informs the celebrities that a re-vote will take place, but this time you can only vote for Katy or Lea, and Katy and Lea will not vote. To no one's surprise, the re-vote also comes out a tie. As Katy and Lea mentally prepare for another fire building challenge Jeff tells the celebrities that, according to the rules of Survivor, the fire building tiebreaker only occurs at the Final Four. For those ties that occur at the Final Five or higher, the players that received votes will become immune and the rest of the tribe will draw rocks to determine who gets voted off. Jeff tells Miranda that since she won immunity she doesn't have to draw a rock. Adam, Amy, and Kate must reach into a bag that contains two yellow rocks and a purple one. The person unlucky enough to pick the purple rock will become the next member of the jury. When the three celebrities open up their hands it is revealed that Amy Poehler has chosen the dreaded purple rock and becomes the fourth member of the jury.
EPISODE 12
The Ultimate Swing Vote
Back at camp Miranda, Adam, and Lea celebrate their good luck while Katy and Kate plan their next move. They decide to talk to Adam about the close bond Miranda and Lea have and see if he would be willing to vote against one of them at the next Tribal Council. The next day, Adam tells Katy and Kate that he might be willing to vote Lea off but he knows Miranda would be upset with him if he did. Katy replies by asking Adam if he would be upset when Miranda won the Final Immunity Challenge and took Lea to the Final Two instead of him. Adam ponders his options.
At the immunity challenge, Jeff tells the celebrities a story and once he is finished the celebrities have to answer questions about the story by visiting different stations and collections charms for their bracelet. The first person to answer five questions correctly and fill their bracelet up with five charms will win immunity and a guaranteed spot in the Final Four. To Katy and Kate's despair, Lea wins immunity. Once they return to camp, however, they see an opportunity to turn Lea on Adam by telling her about their earlier conversation with him where Adam said he would vote Lea off. Miranda and Adam decide to switch it up and vote for Kate, and once again Lea finds herself caught in the middle. Going off the fact that Katy and Kate were straight up with her and Adam said behind her back that he would vote for her, Lea goes against the musicians and Adam is voted off in a 3-2 vote.
EPISODE 13
I Win When I Need To Win
Miranda is upset that Lea didn't tell her she was voting for Adam and is worried she may be the next celebrity voted off. Katy and Kate are glad they made it this far and promise to take each other to the Final Two. Before the immunity challenge Lea tells Miranda she just had to do what was best for her in regards to the last Tribal Council.
The celebrities take part in a Fallen Comrades immunity challenge at Tribal Council, which Miranda wins. The celebrities are told they will vote the next person off immediately with no time to strategize. Katy and Kate cast easy votes for Lea, and Miranda joins them as she is still upset with Lea for voting Adam off at the last Tribal Council. In a 3-1 vote, Lea becomes the sixth member of the jury.
The next morning the Final Three in the Rites of Passage before their Final Immunity Challenge. Katy and Kate renew their promise to take each other to the Final Two. Knowing she will get voted off if she doesn't win immunity, Miranda pulls off another victory in a classic game of Hands on the Immunity Idol. At Tribal Council, Miranda listens to both girls arguments before casting the only vote. Ultimately, Miranda decides to vote Kate Hudson off because she believes she has a better chance to win the game against Katy Perry. Kate becomes the seventh and final member of the jury.
The next morning Miranda and Katy celebrate making the Final Two over a nice breakfast. They think it's funny how they still made it to the end together after their alliance crumbled. Miranda apologizes to Katy for her gameplay, noting the fact that it was her promise to Lea that pushed Katy away. After their meal the girls enjoy some alone time while thinking about the Final Tribal Council that will occur later that day.
At the Final Tribal Council, Miranda and Katy each give an opening statement telling the jury why they deserve to win the game. Miranda feels like she is a survivor, not only in the game but in life as well. She tells the jury she made the right relationships and won immunity when she needed to in order to ensure her safety. Katy highlights the fact that she found the HII in her opening statement, and used it when she knew she was in danger. She says that she adapted well to the shifts in her alliance and earned her spot in the Final Two.
Each juror is now permitted to ask the Final Two a question. Matt goes first and says his mind is not yet made up because both girls played great games. He asks the Final Two what one single thing they would change about the game if given the opportunity. Miranda says she would change the musicians crumbling, stating she wishes they would have gotten to the end together. Katy takes a different approach saying she wishes she knew she was on the outs sooner so she could have switched sides earlier.
Lea goes next, asking Miranda why she didn't cause a tie with her at the Final Four Tribal Council. Miranda says there were two reasons. First, she was still upset that Lea voted for Adam without telling her. And second, due to having to vote immediately after the challenge, they didn't have any time to strategize about the vote noting that it may have been different had they been given the opportunity to talk things over. Lea thanks her and sits back down.
Kate is up next and she congratulates Katy on a game well played. Before sitting down, she states that she will be voting for Katy to win.
Steve is the next juror to ask a question. He says he is unsure who to vote for at this point and will base his vote off of the answers the girls give to his question. Out of all the jurors, Steve wants to know who deserves to win the most. Miranda says Chris and Katy says Amy. Steve thanks the girls and congratulates them on a game well played.
Adam is up next and tells Katy she will have to work hard to earn his vote. He asks her to describe her thought process the round he was voted off and explain why he was the target. A bitter Adam is not pleased with Katy's response and angrily returns to his seat.
Amy is the next juror to ask a question, but she instead gives a hilarious speech as to why Katy deserves to win. Throughout the speech Katy and Kate laugh hysterically.
Chris is the final jury member to ask a question and while he criticizes Miranda for him taking the fall for her he shows a strong disgust with Katy. He says he is going to try his hardest to put personal reasons aside when casting his vote but makes no promises.
The jurors cast their votes the celebrities leave the island, returning to their glamourous lives. A couple months later, the winner is revealed in New York City and Miranda Lambert is crowned the Sole Survivor by a vote of 4-3. Miranda received the votes of Adam Levine, Chris Daughtry, Lea Michele, and Matt Damon. The runner-up Katy Perry received the votes of Amy Poehler, Kate Hudson, and Steve Carell.
EPISODE 14
The Reunion
After Miranda is announced as the winner of Survivor: Celebrity Edition, all sixteen celebrities are reunited for the reunion show. Jeff congratulates Miranda on her win and tells her that she was always a joy to watch on the show. He comments on how Miranda was the leader of the majority alliance but watched her allies get picked off around the Final Six and became the underdog. Miranda agrees, saying how fast the game can change. Jeff asks her what her motivation was to win the final immunity challenges and get to the end. Miranda says she knew that since her allies were getting sent to the jury she felt she had a good chance at winning if she could sneak her way into the finals, and she really wanted to win the money for her charity.
Jeff moves on to the runner-up, Katy Perry, and tells her that she played just as good a game as Miranda and also deserved to win. Katy thanks him and said she thought she had it there for a second, but was glad that she came as far as she did and was proud of the way she played, especially finding the HII and shocking everyone when she played it.
Other celebrities also get interviewed by Jeff, including Lea Michele who is questioned about what went through her head every time she was the swing vote, and Kate Hudson is commended for never giving up even though the odds were highly stacked against her. Amy Poehler is praised for her performance in the challenges and her hilarious speech at the Final Tribal Council, and Steve Carell's move of telling Chris he was thinking of voting him out is deemed the stupidest moment of the season by America.
Jeff thanks the sixteen celebrities for taking time out of their busy lives to play Survivor for their respective charities, and announces at the end of the reunion that CBS is donating $10,000 to each of the celebrities charities.
